On October 19, 2024, Saturday, Interim Government Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus will engage in the fourth round of dialogue with political parties at his official residence, Jamuna, starting at 3 PM. Parties like the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), Ganoforum, the Nationalist Alliance, and others have been invited. Discussions are expected to focus on electoral reforms, roadmaps, controlling commodity prices, and addressing false cases against opposition leaders. Earlier, on October 5, Dr. Yunus held talks with BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami leaders, excluding GM Quader’s faction amid student protests.
This ongoing dialogue is seen as a significant step towards addressing political challenges, providing an opportunity for various parties to present their reform proposals. Many are looking forward to this discussion for potential resolutions to the nation’s pressing issues.
