The U.S. presidential election is scheduled for November 5. However, early voting has already begun across the country. According to a CNN report, President Joe Biden cast his early vote in Delaware on Monday (October 28).
Yesterday, Joe Biden was seen at a polling station in Delaware, where he cast his vote for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris. In July, Biden withdrew from the presidential race, and Vice President Kamala Harris was nominated in his place.
Biden said, “Kamala and I have a lot more work to do together.” When asked afterward if he thought Kamala would win, Biden replied, “I think we will win.”
While the U.S. election is set for November 5, early voting is already underway in around 40 states. So far, approximately 32 million people have taken advantage of early voting.
According to Reuters, some early voters have cast their ballots in person, while others have mailed them in. Key battleground states like North Carolina and Georgia, known for close races, began early voting last week, with record numbers of votes cast on the first day.
Each of the country’s 50 states has its own voting methods, including mail-in ballots, in-person early voting, election day voting, or a combination of these options.
