Trump's Remarks on Minority Persecution in Bangladesh

Former U.S. President Donald Trump strongly condemned mob attacks and looting against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities in Bangladesh.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump expressed his views on the violence against minorities in Bangladesh. He wrote, “I strongly condemn the barbaric violence against Hindus, Christians, and other minorities in Bangladesh. They are being attacked and looted in organized assaults. The country is now in complete disarray.”

He added, “Such things never happened during my time. Kamala and Joe (President Joe Biden) have been neglecting Hindus both globally and in America. They have become a disaster for areas ranging from Israel to Ukraine and down to our southern border. But we will make America strong again, and with that strength, we will bring back peace!”

Promising to protect Hindus from religious discrimination in the United States, Trump stated, “We will fight for your freedom. During my administration, we will strengthen our greater partnership with India and my good friend Prime Minister Modi.”

In his post, Trump wrote, “Kamala Harris will destroy your small businesses by imposing more restrictions and raising taxes. In contrast, I will create the strongest economy in history by lowering taxes and regulations and building America’s strength. We will do it again. It will be bigger and better than ever before, and we will make America great again.”
